NMM will not install textures and other files EXCEPT .esp

Problem: Mods wont install Textures, meshes and other fiels except plugins like esp. files

 

When I started adding mods NMM shows check marks after installing a mod, but mods that contain textures, meshes, etc. besides esp files will not fully install. Upon restarting NMM mods will be unchecked (even if the missing files are correctly installed manually.)

 

What I have tried:

 

-reinstalled NMM

-reinstalled FO4 and NMM

-deleted every file to do with either of the above and started over

-checked my ini files (archive invalidation etc.)

-checked if plugins.txt was read only (it's not)

-running NMM as administrator

-running F4SE from NMM and tried from folder

 

NOTE:

Texture, mesh, and other folders will show up, but will show up empty. Ba2 fiels also do not install

Launching the game through NMM may break manually installed mods by un-checking themselves

 

Iv'e been attempting to get NMM to install two mods to test it. Drop the bomb and pipboy 4k textures. Both will show green checks then the textures folder and loose files will fail to install. Restarting NMM will show mods as unchecked.

 

I am not great at manual modding so manual installs only get me so far. Please help! I'm tired of restarting my game due to broken crap NMM does.
