"Wait...I know you!" and other annoying stuff.....

HI everyone. I completed the quest where you escape Cidna Mine ages ago, but everywhere I go in Skyrim, a guard says this to me. Grrr! I either ignore them, or tab back out of a conversation without clicking on the "You're making a mistake" choice, then they say "All right then" or something like that. It's not a huge deal, but it does bug me and so I'm wondering if there is any way in the console to get this to stop happening? Or, would I need to find a mod?

 

Also, when I'm wandering around Jorrvaskr and talking to people, Skor keeps telling me that "I'm a whelp and have to prove myself". I'm the Harbinger, hello???!!! I don't have to prove myself to him or any of them and I'd love to find out how to change this dialogue situation too!! :)

you will need a mod. or if beth. decide to recreate the game (which has happend with other developers)

 

This is one of the many immersion brakers which many complained sadly. so it's not just you my friend.

 

Let''s hope things will change for the better soon. With either mods or beth.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your help and feedback. Guess I'lll see if someone makes a mod for the "Wait I know you" thing (lol) and I'm glad you told me that Skor was supposed to be dead. I'll just disable him and that should take care of that! :)

Mod. Like there's a mod out for getting Farengar to stop mentioning "if you're interested in magic, you should visit the college in Winterhold," after you're already the archmage. Actually, tho, it just removes him from ever saying it.

 

Maybe better is the mod for the trigger distance for when NPC's will conversate.

its bounty dialog. there is a mod on here to pay off the bounty and remove it or you can remove it yourself by using the console command:

 

player.setcrimegold XXX <faction id>

Set it high if you want to fight, set it at 0 if you want to be free.

NOTE: Each city has a different bounty which requires the faction id to be included in the syntax to work properly. Faction id's can be found by typing 'help "city name" 4' then using the id number following FACTN: in the above format and use the 'PageUp' and 'PageDown' buttons to scroll through results.
