kay, I don't know if this is just me, but the nightingale set, while having stats I like completely annoys me. everyone seems to love it but when I wear it all I can think is 'batman.batman.batman' cus it looks like the famous hero from gothem city

so what I'm looking for is simply for it to look like the set you first get from the thieves guild or perhaps a darker version of it

I've made an armour for you which will replace the 'Nightingale Armour' appearance when worn. The inventory image remains that of the original Nightingale Armour (I did not go as far as to replace all those values also) but when worn on your character it will appear as in the images below. I decided to mix and match some different parts instead of copying the dark Thief Armour outright, basing it on the Guildmaster's Thief Armour while borrowing various parts that match the colour scheme for the bracers, boots and hood. The hood itself has a long drape/wrap hanging from the back, parting with the symmetry of your overall look much like Thief Armour does, to match the same feel. I hope (and think) you will like this!

Just open the altnightingale.rar file and put the content in your Skyrim/Data folder. I'm sure you know where it is. If you can't find it, search your drive for Skyrim.esm and put it in that exact same folder. You will then have to run the Skyrim menu (from which you can select Play, Options, Datafiles, Techsupport, Exit) and will have to click on 'DATA FILES'. You will notice a small menu coming up named 'Skyrim Data Files'. There, just tick the box in front of altnightingale.esp and click the OK button below. Now click play and see how your Nightingale Armour looks all different on your character.

Enjoy! If you have any problems, just reply here or PM me.

thankyou so much! this is so much more amazing then I could have hoped for it looks a lot better in world then the nightingale does, that armor just looks so out of place to me and the whole 'batman' just ruined it, this makes it playable again <3 thank you so much!
