I dont know how to post links yet because i am an idiot. ( ONLY I CAN CALL ME THAT! ) but ill give you some names of the better armor makers. Arknevec, Jerros, x-files, Dalls,

Do a search on saurons armor chest. And by the way you dont need obmm, installing stuff is as easy as adding a mod to obmm.

Plus look at everything in the top 100, read it carefully and pick and choose what you want. Do a search on shdw. yes that is shdw. that guy makes some thief/ranger armor. you can also do a search on an author, to see there other mods by doing an advanced search.

Eventually you will want to get wyrebash if your gonna go nuts. Akantosh mount is a good one. Exnems body eplacer if you want a better looking body, there are also texture enhancers ( by saying that i mean game looks better in general, mos time no FPS hit.) and perfomance enhancers ( by saying that i mean game runs smoother ) also Various quest mods and alot of other stuff.

Conans armoury, prometheus barbarian cimmerian mod, Dalls_fireglow weapons, Blackluster, I could go on, and on , and on , and on, and on, and on, and on.....................but i wont.

If you find a mod which comes with a .omod version along with the normal compressed version then just download the .omod version. Easy enough!

If you find a mod you like and it isn't in .omod format then you can make a .omod version of it by yourself. Just extract the content of the mod in a folder. Make sure that there aren't other subfolder in it but just those the mod need! I mean just <meshes> <textures> <sounds> or similar. Like the folder structure you have in your data folder! Put the esp(s) the mod needs in the root of this folder and then launch OBMM. Now press the create button and in the dialog window the <Add Folder> button. Then browse your computer to the folder in which you have extract the mod and add it. Now the esp(s) and those folders\files will appear in the dialog window. Add a name in the box in the top\left and the author name on the right and create your omod. The program will warn you that you might need to create a description; just select <No> and wait until the process is finished (this could be long sometimes. To make an omod of QTP3 I needed more than an hour, I recall). When it''s done the program will show you an advice and then you will have your new omod in the right pane of the program. That is all! Easy enough, I think!
