NPCs change skin color after edit in CK

Ok, here's my problem: whenever I try to edit an NPC existing in game or add a new one, I am stuck with one default skin color that is a little dark (like tanned imperial or somehow fair skinned redguard). All seems normal in CK, but later in the game the changes to skin color that I made have no effect. Same goes with lips color. I am using SKSE and texture replacer ("beauty faces" mostly). Does anyone have an idea how to fix this bug?

Change the face tinting color to R 139 G 143 B 135 then save the facegen data by highlighting the NPCs name in object window and press CTRL+F4, click yes and problem solved

Interesting work around. If we can't change the color of the head, then change the color of the body to match it. Clever!
