AkireChan
Title pretty much sums it up. I've had fallout 4 on my OS ssd for a while now and just got a high performance spinning drive for all of my games. Already moved over all the mods and install files, set the pathing for NMM. My plan is to uninstall Fallout 4 and download a new vanilla copy through steam onto the new drive, then reinstall all my mods. My boyfriend says that is just a recipe for disaster, I said I'd see what the lovely people of the forums have to suggest. So, forum, what's the right way to migrate my s#*!? SMB92
Just make sure you get your plugins.txt from Documents/appdata/local/fallout4. Or otherwise just redo your load order. Usually I take out the data folder first and put it somewhere then uninstall/reinstall the game, same for NMM, and just those folders straight on top along with load order file. I keep all my Fallout 4 and Skyrim and a Zoolz cloud backup now as well as local ;)
damanding
As long as you have the same list of mods and same load order your save game won't notice a thing, I've personally done it successfully more than once.
