games2011 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) I tend to run around with more than the tested 4 followers, K 9, the army robot, Charon, Malcom, Deisha, Cross and that whiny prick from vault 101.Many times, as soon as the first shots are fired, or mid battle, sometimes even afterwards it´s ctd. When i first gotCross, there was a message about a possible behaviour conflict, but Gary could not find one.Most crashes happen in the wilderness, with animals. Otoh, i had big shoot outs with the Enclave, Raidersand even one with a Gargantuan plus his pack and there was´nt a problem. But comes ones stupid pig or molerat,and it crashes.Also, sometimes animals spawn stuck in the texture, and it crashes when firing at them.Another problem for me seems to be the area between Arlington library and the Raider drug lab. Once i got stuck there, and only by going backwards and looking at the ground i managed to escape. As soon as i looked up and in random directions, it crashed. This also happend in VATS bullet following mode. I reduced the MMM spawn settings to negative, without a noticable effect. Is there something wrong with my load order, or do i have too many followers? blove Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 My personal experience with MMM is that young creatures and size-scaling is unstable. When I disable both I seem (yes, it is subjective, I know) to get less crashes. Your MMM BS plugin is in an odd spot. As to followers, I never play with them so I dunno.
games2011 Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 I fixed the load order, but that wasn´t the problem. I found out about the ini tweak (bUseThreadedAI=1iNumHWThreads=2) and now my follower battles are stable. Should have read more before posting.:rolleyes:Mat
