AtomicMods
Okay I have a question: If I have edited a .dds for a glass sword, and I want to use the .dds for another item, How would I go about doing that? I mean like using my .dds but using the original .nif for the original glass sword to create a new item in skyrim. PLEASE HELP!
ashkingwulfharth
wouldn't saving them with names different from the originals or in another folder, and applyling the new textures to the glass sword in nifskope and saving as a differerent mesh or in a different directory work? NoAardvarksAllowed
1) Make a new Texture Set entry (under Misc in the CK) for the new dds. 2) Make your new sword by editing an existing one. Give it a unique base ID. 3) In the weapon window, go to the Art and Sound tab, click the Edit button under Model and assign your texture set to the model. Save the esp. [3b) If you want to be able to craft the weapon, make recipe and tempering entries under Constructable Object.] 4) Load the .esp and play the game. 5) Eat cake to celebrate your modding success.
