tgroover42 Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 First message I get when opening the Skyrim file is this,"MASTERFILE: NavmeshInfo 00028e37 has no parent space ignoring 'Yes to all' will disable all warnings for this context"Then I get various other warning messages such as "MASTERFILE errors were encountered during InitItem for refence" why am I getting these messages?The CK has crashed completely on me several times and gone into page not responding states as well. It is rather annoying to have an hour and a half of work just gone to oblivion because the Creation Kit randomly decides "I'm done with you" So my goal with this is to ask for help in regards to what I said specifically and to any other problems you have been facing with the CK.Responses would be very nice and I will try to respond to any who do. Commander19 Posted February 23, 2012 Share Posted February 23, 2012 The errors you have mentioned are actually common and so far I haven't noticed the error actually affecting anything. What is the major problem that I have noticed is this "DRM" type of protection added for objects already placed within the .ESM file, the object is there, but for whatever reason, it doesn't appear in the editor and does not show up in-game so it becomes this "ghost object". Honestly, at first I enjoyed working with the CK at first, but being a modder with about 5-6 years of experience, I can tell you based on the problems present with the CK, that Bethesda is seemingly and ultimately, slowly slipping away from the mod support.
