mackan8000
Im going to move and reinstall my Steam copy Fallout 4 on different hard drive. But i don't know is what is going to happen with my mods that are in my Fallout 4 data folder and Nexus Mod Manager when i uninstall and reinstall the game on a different hard drive. Do i have to reinstall Nexus Mod Manager so it and the mods goes to the new hardrive? Are the mods going to be there in my Fallout 4 folder after i have reinstalled like they where before? And if they the mods are there after i have reinstalled do i need to do something else with Nexus Mod Manager do make sure the mods function correctly like they did before i moved and reinstalled the game? Another thing I like to know is if the mods are going to be in the same order I installed so the mods I have overwrited over other mods will function correctly. SMB92
There are plenty if recent topics on this thread that have answers, have a browse a couple pages back. Edit - your mids will be in the same order if you salvage your plugins.txt file before reinstall
mackan8000
I know what to do know but i have a few questions 1. Do i have to make a backup copy of my entire Fallout 4 folder in Steamapps common or just the folder that is called data in the Fallout 4 folder that has all of my mods? 2. Is the plugins.txt in Appdata My Games Fallout 4 that has the save files and some INI files do i just have to make a backup of that Fallout 4 folder and place it over the new one after i have reinstalled the game?
