Raizaiel
An old but well-loved mod over on Oblivion (God, that game seems like it was forever ago now) added a few surprise elements that I really enjoyed. I am speaking of Oblivion XP, which revamped the experience and leveling system from the much-hated necessary tactics--leveling arduously and saving your basic seven skills--to a more profound experience-based leveling system. Of course, Skyrim does a pretty fantastic job of the leveling thing, so this mod doesn't really have much to offer (besides a slightly different gameplay scenario). However, there were a few other things that it did that I really enjoyed. 1. Names above the NPCs, which really gave it a strong MMO feel--it was easy to imagine that these were actual players standing around or doing things.2. A small mini-map in the corner of the screen, like great MMOs have, showing doors to different cells or areas.3. There was a small table that popped up, showing the new line of XP gained, over the previous instances of this. I'm sure there are plenty of mods to add more NPCs into the cities and add dynamic instances around the wilderness, and combining that with a Party mod to snag a few extra NPCs would give it that faux-multiplayer edge that I really enjoyed. Of course, were functional multiplayer to actually happen, I'd consider jumping ships...but does anybody know how to go about implementing these things? I would be greatly in debt :) P.S. Added screenshot. Couldn't find any images of the character in a city, with NPCs around to display their avatar names, but you get the gist. JoeBro91
Someone should definitely contact Skyrim online maker's about this! Even though they are extremely busy this shouldn't be put off and should be in one of their future update's.
