SykesAtherton
Hi all! Some of the new werewolf balancing mods that are coming out have been really great, but so far all of them have only really been focused on making werewolves more powerful. I would appreciate, to add a bit of immersion and balance, if a mod could be made that will empty your inventory of all non quest-related items instead of just un-equipping you. Now, I'm not saying to delete all your hard-earned uber-swords and armor, but to take them and dump them off in a chest perhaps for later recovery? Maybe use the same function that getting arrested does, talking all your items and storing them in a chest, and perhaps this chest could be in a commonly accessible location, like in riverwood or in the player house in whiterun. I'd just like the act of becoming a werewolf to be that much more a risk, a temporary gain with a big, but not crippling setback, and forcing you to loot and use armor and weapons you are not used to adds a sense of a survivalist. Anyone else find this interesting? I've never modded a thing in my life, and I'd think making something like that would be out of my league. Maybe it's a nice idea that when you transform your clothes or armour 'burst' off your person and land on the ground as if tossed away. That way the player has to come back and pick them up later, risking they are vulnerable while changing back until they run back for their armour, making lycantrophy more risky to use. Perhaps, but that would make it a little tedious after you travel long distances while in werewolf form. If your items get transported to a chest in a secure location, you are still rendered much more vulnerable afterchanging back, but all your truly valuable stuff is never permanently lost. Whatever works for you, it just seems contradicting that while adding realism (items get lost when transforming), they magically appear sorted in a chest. :) Unless you meant the first transformation and the companions gathered your gear while chasing after you, but then Aela would probably hand it back, unless she and Skjor want to test you against the Silver-Bloods in pure werewolf form. It would be contradicting, s I would personally not even mind if all your gear just up and disappears, but I know a lot of people out there grow very attached to their uniquely crafted/enchanted items or maybe they lug around a one-of-a-kind weapon, this mod wouldn't get much consideration to be made if it destroyed all of other people's precious gear.
