I noticed a sewer access near the front gate that is labeled "Follower Escape Hatch". I don't remember anything like this from the numerous play throughs of the game. Anyone know what this is? Hate to perform necromancy on this thread, but I noticed this was never answered and so was bumping it to try to find out the answer - I am also making a house mod in Megaton, and found the same hatch by the main gate inside Megaton. It is called the Follower's Escape Hatch, and is supposed to be connected to misc. quest #11. It is set as "Initially disabled" (I'm assuming that is until (whatever) part of that misc quest #11 activates it). Does anyone know what this is for? I don't recall ever having a quest where my followers had to escape into Megaton; and if you use the door marker (in the Geck) to enter the sewer access it takes you to a place up in the sky overlooking Megaton. Anyone else (other than the OP) ever find this and can explain what it is there for? The reason I want to know is, I have had some door issues with this mod, and don't recall seeing that sewer access originally there when I started the mod - just want to ensure it isn't something I have inadvertently done wrong that might mess up a quest. mALX1 Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 It IS showing when I open up the Geck on the vanilla game (whew!), it is marked to be hidden from map; called "Ms11FollowerEscapeHatch" (with "InteriorRef" added to that as the reference data); it is set up as "Enable state set to opposite of parent" and linked to an X marker in Wilderness cell -1, -7; the X marker reference is called "Ms11MegatonToggle." (I had markers turned off, but assuming this X marker is in the sky since that is where I ended up when I tried to access the sewer entrance). I am relieved to know I didn't do something wrong to cause this (!!!), so no need to respond; but still left curious regarding its usage - so if anyone cares to explain, I'd appreciate it.
