Breton Thief Oriana

How would you folks design the Perfect character? would he be unsurpassable in brute strength? Would he be the smartest little dude in all of tamerial?

this has a lot to do with the beginning of how you create, and how you level and train. Start with [iNSERT RACE NAME HERE] than move to [ASTROLOGICAL SIGN] than [sTARTING SKILLS, FAVORITE ATTRIBUTES, SPECIALIZATION]. than tell us how you would level. what attributes first? how would you train your skills? does how you chose your sign limit your abillities in any way?

Let the Stratagy Free-For-All begin!!!!!!!!! on your mark, get set, :spam: ! just kidding....i meant

GO!!!!!

PErsonaly when i create character i create them as thieves and am always born under the atranoch because it is the only sign that gives you an ability that you could not get any other way. All other signs are some magical abilities that someone can teach you except for a few. for the starting atributes i will always choose to put a 10 point bonus into luck and 10 into whatever atribue i fell like at the time. I also usually start out with some armor type and a weapon speach craft and mercantile both as major skills. Also i choose athletics, destruction, and unarmored. Every thing else varries based upon the race i choose to start with. Early on i usually taunt guards in syda neen to attack me and cheeply attack them by running in and out of a building that i can rest in. After working on unarmored and a weapon that i have not chosen in the begining i go off to join guilds and houses and do quests from then on.

well, when i decide to make a new character, i plan it out, literally, i think what i want to do alot, which guilds i want to join, weapons/armor i want to use, and skills, add them together, take out a few things, and come to a conclusion, then i start playing, that way, nothing is off the top of my head.

Well when a training regeme for my character comes to mind I think along the Lines of a Breton or Altmer Battle Mage. A mix of Magic & Brute force. The Attronarch Sign is a good choice in my opinion for this class. my training regeme is as follows.

1. Get an Axe & a Set of heavy Armour (Prefered Skills for Combat)

2. Find a good place to train.

3. Summon a ghost with your conjuration skill (provided if you choose it as a skill)

4. Make sure that the Axe is Iron so it does not hurt the ghost & begin to swing wildly at it. The Axe does not hurt the ghost as it ahs no affect but you still recieve experience. As the ghost hits you your heavy armour skill also goes up. To summon the ghost in the first place you gain experience with your conjuration skill. So in effect you are training 3 skills at once while replenishing your amgicka by absorbing it from the curse.

5. Repeat the process with various other magical abilities to train them higher aswell. Also casting area effect spels on the ground trains your destruction higher. I usually get a low migicka spell & cast it over & over again on the ground to gain experience.

Well that is the technique that I use to level up while in Seyda Neen, mainly in GIlnith's shack as it has a bed for health restoration & you can kill him leagally.

i didnt even set up my stratagies yet..so here goes. I usually start with a bretton for the magic resistance. Next, i choose my skills as such(this being for my newly created yesterday character, using my orriginal stratagy): expertise in magic, with intelligence and personality boosts, call it an illusionist cause its skills will be a mix of stealth and magic- major skills> illusion, alteration, conjuration, [insert Weapon Type], [insert Armor Type]. minor skills> security, enchant, restoation, mysticysm, speechcraft. thusly, its a good balance of intelligence and personality. this time, i chose blunt weapon and heavy armor, to help build my strentgh and endurance. like i said before, when you level, you should go with, at first, STR., END., and INT. next, though not necessarily next level (Instead when you have enough of prev. stats), go with WILL, SPEED, and AGI. if i need a little, ill level in personality and luck, personality being more important. I try to train in as many weapons and armors as possible. and, my patented way of training two skills at once, security and alteration: lock a door, than lockpick a door, in a room with a bed to raise my magika when i need it. but, now, that doesnt work, cause of sign of the atronoch(wish it had reflect instead of spell absorption). its all about balance, and necessity. wonce you are above necessity, balance your other atributes. and allways go for multiplyers whenever you can; these are guidelines, not rules. and ill take your master homegrown training nto considderation, although mine has no risk.
