Missing stolen item tag

Hello guys,

 

I have encountered a problem where after I installed and updated few of my mods, the item that I stole from npc would not correctly show "stolen tag" on it. I have tried dropping the item on the ground and apparently, the item is marked stolen but it is not in my inventory.

Stolen book in my inventory, notice that it doesnt have a stolen tag (no red hand by skyui, no stolen tag near the item name at the right side of the screen)

The same stolen book placed in a chest, marked stolen with red hand by skyui after being placed in a chest in breezehome. Notice that stolen tag above the book name at the right side of the screen in still missing.

Same book, trying to sell to a npc. Stolen tag is still missing (both red hand and stolen tag)

After laundering the book at vendor, notice that the stolen tag is removed (although it is not shown properly in inventory) as seen in the chest. Able to launder, its just have missing stolen tag.

 

This happened to all the items that I have stole, This may in fact not a big problem but it is such a hassle to find stolen item and then to launder it manually, one by one. Before this, I just sort all my items using SkyUI and launder all the items under "stolen".

 

It is weird because most of my mods are just a retexture and some small tweaks to get the game better.

I wish you guys know what cause this and it seems like a simple UI problem or maybe conflicting with any other mods. It is really a hassle when you have to do vanilla install and put all the mods back in. Thank you

Hi,

 

by looking at your screenshots i think you are using the SkyUI. My suggestion to solve your problem would be to uninstall the the SkyUI and install it again. I think one of your mods is conflicting with it. For me it is working great :)

I have tried that and it didn't work. I have figured out that only the old stolen item was affected after I uninstall most of my mods as the new stolen item is properly tagged. Gonna do vanilla install soon.
