[WIP] Varask (new land)

Hello,

The aim of this is to create new land which Isn't so big and has several Villages and structures. Along with citizens and guards. And perhaps a few quests (although my scripting skills are bad)

 

Architecture:

Mostly Dwarven for the "capital" and the surrounding. The Forts are going to be Imperial.

Terrain:

Rocky terrain with pine-forests.

The Idea:

During one of your travels you find a small dwarven complex, Strangely it's Guardians aren't hostile. In fact they are leading you somewhere.

To a strange device, upon activation you are teleported to another dwarven complex on an unknown Island( or land, depends). Where you....

 

So far I don't have a lot to show. I already started working on the "opening dungeon", the capital and a seaside fort.

I'm pretty new to the Skyrim Creation kit, I never modded for Skyrim and Oblivon. So there will be times that I'll ask for help :P

The terrain does look bland... But I like what I see with the docks and stuff and your idea actually sounds pretty cool. :thumbsup:

thaks, I think I'll be needing the help.

I'll update it with some pictures when I'm on my own pc, I made the dock a bit more lively by adding crates and barrels. The fort also needs a lot of work

but ATM I'm creating the layout for it. I might make a rough map of the Land's layout

I know, but I like of the challange, and it's a good opportunity to learn the editor

 

One question is it possible to export the heightmap for editing it in Photoshop?

I believe that's how the dev's did it. The heightmap editor inside the editor is broken. There should be info on it if you search the nexus.

This structure will become a tunnel. The tunnel will be a small dungeon that is connected with a larger dungeon. The second picture will be some kind of Mine.

The docks, which are updates with barrels and crates, I also worked on the cliffs. I'm planning on creating on beach, The rest of the coastline will be rocky.
