AlimTheSpiritHealer
How would you like to earn money while you're off stopping The Blight?! That's right, I'm talking about a lore-friendly mod that allows you to invest in vendors, taverns, brothels, you name it - it can be invested in, for a fee of course, but the returns are worth it. Have you ever been wandering around Ferelden solving everyone's problems when you run across an awesome piece of armor that you just can't afford but just have to have (whether for aesthetic purposes or practical ones)? Well what if someone built a mod that gave you the option to by a portion of each business you run across, and gave you a new NPC in camp to fetch your earnings for you? Well that, my good friends, is what I'd like someone to do - build a mod that gives us a lore-friendly way to earn money without having to grind as hard. Also, what if owning a business also provided you a discount at that business. Who's with me?! :)

AlimTheSpiritHealer
Ermmm... "runscript zz_money x" Yeah, but that's not really as immersive as I'd like the income to be, but thanks for the option :)
rosvitacousland
Great idea! Unfortunately, I am not able myself to create a mod like this. - I guess, you already have got the option to become "partner" of the tavern at Redcliffe, but you won't earn so much. Maybe, that could be a starting point. - I remember other rpgs - yes, it had been a time, when I played other games than DA, I mean, before I even knew DA, ha, ha - like Might & Magic and I guess, DSA, which had got banks. You could pay in and draw out and get interest! By the way, if I have to cheat - Ferelden is an expensive country... - I prefer the golden goose. At least, I guess, it's more fabuolus than the console.

(I'm really new to mods myself and would like to learn how to mod, since I have the time, it's just acquiring the knowledge and eye strength needed to slog through code at this point lol) This is something I'd like to add to just about every RPG on the Nexus (that I have in my library lol, gotta make sure they work) Edited August 22, 2017 by AlimTheSpiritHealer

Doesnt have to be much just worth the investment. 3) 1 other note if you pay for the Green Sword and they leave the city to head for Denerim that could let you buy the house as well? Might be something to do with that as well. This was always my take on it years ago when I played. Just recently been feeling nostalgic and came back to play it. Qwesar
Great idea! I've been searching for a mod that adds renewable or more money. Selling Potent Lyrium Potions is boring and can cause save bloat and isn't super realistic. The golden goose is a cheat mod, its classy but it still a cheat. I was thinking of a mod that adds lucrative quest rewards from aristocratic quest givers, (obviously a peasant can't give you a ton of quest gold). Also another idea I had was increasing the sell value of junk in the game, there is a Dragon Age II mod that does that and it works quite well to help bring more money to a broke player in a broken game economy. There is a lady in Lothering that lets you repeat the quest to sell her 3 simple traps and its pretty seamless, it just feels like your bartering with her instead of cheating. I usually repeat that quest several times over to get a few gold, I try to limit the number of times I do that because then it will start to feel like an exploit if I do it 15+ times.
