TomTesoro
So I'm having a problem with one of my packages not working. It's a travel package set to start when a certain stage is set. It gets to that stage, and the actor that it's assigned to just stands there. It shouldn't be a navmesh issue because this is a vanilla cell and I have not touched the navmesh. The appropriate stage is set. I have tried placing the package on his alias, and on him directly, with no results. This package did used to work previously, but it's suddenly stopped working and I have no idea why. Any pointers before I start pulling my hair out? Tasheni
I experienced this a lot of times and the fastest solution for me is always to create the package new instead of searching for the issue. If you alter a package that is attached to an actor can cause this and I observed other weird things. So one of my followers follows not anymore if player has entered a house. He stays in it and drinks his mead :) When I teleport him to me he's following again. I'm pretty sure that I have not altered anything on this package. The new one works fine. Oh my GOD....thank you so much for mentioning this!! I'm almost done with my lengthy quest/companion mod and *this* issue was driving me absolutely insane--especially because it was so random! But I did just like you said and created a new action for every character/scene instead of trying to reuse/copy/paste them like I had been...and now everything actually works! Seriously, thank you so, so much for this. I feel like I was minutes from tearing my hair out LOL.
