My Skyrim still feels like it's missing something

So i've been using SweetFX Configurator pretty much the whole time since i've been playing the game January of last year; relatively speaking. I naturally tried Realvision a long time ago ever since i saw the first video of it. I uninstalled it after about 10-15 minutes because the performance impact was far too great for what it was. SweetFX Configurator looks great with HDR. Well... sort of i've always tried doing this back and forth tweaking between the HDR settings and it always looks far too dominant and awful. Things are always either too bright or too dark and yet the light is so saturated. It's hard to describe. SweetFX Configurator users will know what i'm talking about.

Now, i have had ENBoost for a while. What i want to know is how i can enable ENB graphics enhancements on the fly. Can i toggle between on and off? Can they be ON while also having ENBoost on? I still don't understand fully how ENB works.

And ultimately, i think Skyrim looks great at times, and other times it has this overall haziness to it. I cranked up the Vibrance (saturation) in SweetFX and it does help.. but... maybe i just haven't found the perfect settings? I still think the HDR settings are just broken. I've invested quite a bit of time playing with those and it's still crap.
