Kalva
My problem. So uhhh.. Yeah. How do I resize that? Or make it so I'll be able to see it all, even if it's in parts. I can't drag it up above that point as is, and it's sort'a.. Kind'a... Really... Problematic.
Sunnie
You need a higher screen resolution than 1360x768 to see all some of those editor windows. Small laptops are not ideal for modding.
Kalva
I accept your advice, though am insulted by your insinuation of my hardware specifications. Thanks.
Sunnie
Sorry..But, it's easy to assume that one only uses such a small screen resolution because its the best they have, and I don't know of any desktop monitor in the last 12 years that is 16:9 and has that small of a resolution limit. Laptops, on the other hand, thats a common max resolution in the 10-12 inch screen size. /shrug
Kalva
I'm actually using a flat screen TV as my monitor... On a newer desktop. I was just being lazy with things from swapping from another monitor.. Didn't feel like adjusting text, really. No need to apologize, the logic is sound enough.. Though this thread is slipping off topic. Again, thank you for your swift reply and help. I should've tried this earlier, but didn't think of it for some reason. cscottydont
I was also having this problem and couldn't figure out why because my screen resolution should have been more than adequate to show the full window.Theres a setting in Windows 7 in Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Make Text and Other Items Larger or Smaller If this is set to Medium or Large you won't be able to get the whole window on screen even if your resolution is at or higher than the recommended settings. For me Medium shows the whole window vertically but not horizontally and leaves the text at a size thats readable without a telescope. I use an hd tv for my monitor and had set this to Large (and apparently forgot it existed), so I was also baffled at the windows not fitting. eagledude4
I accept your advice, though am insulted by your insinuation of my hardware specifications. Thanks. I use the same resolution, and I have a 24 inch lcd capable of 1080p output :P
KingGsterUK
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/get-the-linux-altwindow-drag-functionality-in-windows/ (run as administrator) This simple lightweight programme allows you to press Alt+Left Click on any part of the window and move it off the screen to the top (or anywhere) so you can see the rest of the dialogue box. I've tried 2 desktop managers (Dexpot, Gimespace free to no avail) and other similar Alt+Left Click solutions but this one is the only one that I've found working with the CK. This a an old thread but I wish I would have found a post like this straight away instead of trial and error for nearly 2 hours. Hope this helps! Happy modding! Edited March 17, 2013 by KingGsterUK
