Deleted46161247User
Okay so, I have a problem. This is probably a really old topic that has been discussed like a billion or so times before, but no matter where I look I still can't find the answer that fixes my problem. Right now I am using a MacBook Pro 15 inch. (latest version) with pretty much the best specs you could ask for. To play Skyrim SE, I used BootCamp (software specifically designed for Mac users to convert their system to a Windows operating system to install Windows 10). I am now trying to install mods MANUALLY for Skyrim SE so I can access older mods that have not yet been ported over. I've tried it like 20 times now but I still can't get old mods to work for Skyrim SE. (Downloading mods via NexusModManager works fine tho) --THE BELOW INFORMATION IS NOT NECASSARILY RELEVANT BUT MIGHT HELP-- Couple of weird things real quick--Before downloading Windows 10, Microsoft said I needed to install the "anniversary version" of Ws10, and then I would later install the "creators version" to complete the process, but...-BootCamp Assistant would not accept the anniversary version so I tried the creators version and then it started the download Fast forward to now-ish-I have recently educated myself on the basics of installing mods-I have tried to install CBBE (Yes, the sexy mod [Don't hate, appreciate])-I read the Q and A section of her mod description and one of the reasons for the mod to be totally unresponsive in-game (not even there) is that some users who have installed the anniversary update for Windows 10 have permission issues that interfere with the mod itself I didn't install the anniversary update, at least that I'm aware of, so I can't imagine what I would be doing wrong if that didn't matter. L3s7ing
I wouldn't recommend installing mods manually. Always use a mod manager. It's the best way to avoid problems.Simply manually download the mods and after that add them to your mod manager (in nmm it's possible with the "add mod from file"-button, it's a green plus).Short Edit: Bootcamp does not convert your system to anything. It simply installs a dual-boot system, so both os are installed at the same time. Just wanted to add this  Edited July 13, 2017 by L3s7ing
