Creature Mesh Stretch

I used outfit studio to edit the meshes of the creatures in Better Female Better Shaped Creatures, what I did was start a new project with the CBBE body and the loaded in the creature meshes as outfits. The I lined up the CBBE body with the creature body and then hit "Conform All". I would use the sliders to edit the mesh to my liking, then export the .nif and replace the original. However when I started playing the game I noticed the creatures were all deformed and stretched out. Figured it might have to do with the skeleton, putting the XP32 skeleton with its .hkx file (from my female character assets folder) would crash the game. Leaving the original skeleton with the .hkx file would cause the model to T-pose (even after running FNIS). Is there any way to fix this?
