ruvuk Posted July 13, 2017 Share Posted July 13, 2017 Hi. I'm working on a player home mod, and I'd like to add some groups of static clutter--mostly books--that I'll position on shelves. The pic below shows an example. (The gadget is a moon phase clock that was made using one of Insanity Sorrow's clock meshes. The mechanical parts are missing in this pic. And the amazing book cover artwork is all from Book Covers of Skyrim.) I've tried making these groups over and over and over (really), and every single time, the books all wind up invisible in the CK. If I click F4, I can see the collision lines. I've also tried this using books wo collision (which I don't need). I've made the books wo the bones, keeping only the static mesh shapes, but no go. I cannot find anything wrong with the meshes. Embarrassing to say, I've been trying to do this, off-and-on, for something like 6 months now. The book meshes I made for this project took a lot of time, as I wanted the books to all look a little different--sizes, shapes, cover thicknesses, page textures, vertex colors for tints and stains. I'd hate to throw it all away. I can't help but think that there's some simple thing that I've missed. Any suggestions would be really great.
