I'm looking into options on how to reset areas to be the way they were before the player fus-ro-dah'ed the books off the shelf and everything else into the air. I saw the command "http://www.creationkit.com/Reset_-_Cell" but I'm not certain how this works? They don't exactly give a description...

 

Also what are other ways to go about this? Making everything resort back to the way they were like the way I see them in the editor...

 

Another example is that I'm creating a jail break script. When I open the door, the prisoner inside gets added to my faction via script. If I disable and re-enable him I assume he still is on my side? How do I reset him?

Well you can use "resetinterior" via the console to reset interior cells, i used it a lot when i was modding through the console. Good to have when i made mistakes.

Though this command resets everything back to vanilla, anything but things that is disabled, since they are not really gone, just not rendered.
