GiveMeGore
Both winrar and 7-zip should be able to open that file. We will try to set the file type manually. Click on the START in the lower left corner Find 'Control Panel' and click on that In the list that comes up, find 'Folder Options' and click on it. At the top of the folder options, click on the 'File Type' tab. You will see a long list of file types , the icon, the file extension and the File type. Scroll down until you find 7Z 7z archive Below you should see a block labeled "Details for '7Z' extension Below that a line that says 'Opens With' and the name of the program that it opens with, it should be 7-Zip File Manager If it is not, click on the change block. A new pop up will appear with file names. 7-zip File Manager should be in the recommended group If it is not, scroll down to see if it is in the list at all - if it is click on it. Then make sure the check block labeled Always use the selected program is checked. If 7 zip file manager is not in the list, click on browse. it should open in program files and the 7-zip folder should be near the top. click on the folder. Then select 7zFM.exe. the block should disappear and you will be back in the open with pop up. click on OK at the bottom That pop up should vanish putting you back in the file types list. Click on Apply, then Close. now close the control panel and try the test dagger again.it worked!! *dances*Thank you so much, i really appreciate you're help and i apologies for may shoddy explaining skills and lack of computor knowlage :thanks:
bben46
Great! Glad it finally worked. Now don't go overboard and download too many mods at a time. Especially on the big ones just one at a time, then test to be sure it works before doing another.
