eagledude4
What..no woman? I thought it was a man cave? I kid I kid I know you're kidding, but I have considered it :P But I think the player's chosen wife would make a better asset than some random lady I stick in. Korodic
Yeah these issues are very serious man. Why would I want to download your mod at the risk of losing my stuff? Sure... I could make a backup... but then if your mod poops out on me then I need to load back to before then. And if I have left the house for awhile... I may need to load quite aways back. I'm sure you were eager to release it, but you'd receive better criticism for a finished product. Just look at Bethesda lmao. Release then fix was not the best solution. Well from what I've noticed from other player home containers is there is no ownership assigned to "Player". So far all I know, there could be no risk at all. I'm just warning people just in case. Getting negative criticism isn't a big issue for me. If the criticism is negative, I'll fix the problems and work harder until there's more positive criticism than negative.I think the real thing you need to do is make sure it has the "respawn" box unchecked inside the base object. jet4571
Yeah make sure respawn is not checked. you could set ownership to the player but thats not really needed. Just use containers that have dont respawn in the name if ones available. @Korodic, It is a simple courtesy to remind them to make a backup before trying a new untested mod and should be done with any new untested mod. No matter how good you think you are at making things there are always chances that you might overlook something. and thats why players should backup, just incase that one weapon rack eats your swords or that container respawns with All ingredients that it took days to collect... Thank you for being on my side >.< I mostly use anything with playerhouse in the name. I'm fixing the respawning for everything right now, Edited February 26, 2012 by eagledude4

jet4571
For the containers that have the respawn checkbox greyed out you will need to create a new base object for it and uncheck it on the base object.
deama
you should give the player the key to this place once he/she has completed the companions guild, mage's guild, and maybe some other guild... cause right now, it has way too many stuff that make it OP. PS: you should add a teleportation spell to teleport the player there.

PS: you should add a teleportation spell to teleport the player there.Good ideas, but I prefer just a normal door the player can walk through, besides, where would the player teleport to to get out?Maybe I'll do some scripting and replace Hjerim once the player finishes Blood on the Ice so that people can still do the quest. I think the player should then buy the house from the jarl of wndhelm for 50,000 Septims. Also:ALL CONTAINERS SHOULD NOW BE FIXED AND RISK FREE!
