vincevolpyne Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 So I chose to propose to Derkeethus, the only argonian follower, and then realized right before the wedding that I'd get more out of things by marrying someone else and having him just follow me as a friend -- reason being, if my spouse follows me, he won't be at home earning money. However, I attempted to call off the wedding and suddenly he refuses to talk to me. Understandable, given I stood him up, but it's kind of a buzzkill that I can't ask him to follow me now.... Someone please tell me this is temporary....I can't reload to an old save effectively because I save to one slot only and all three autosaves are more recent than my proposal.... I also can't uncheck the 'engaged' flag with the console because I'm playing the PS3 edition.At this point, is there anything I can do to keep him as a potential follower without marrying him, or will calling it off make him hate me forever and never offer the "follow me" dialogue again?
