scrivener07
Doing a little research for the CreationKit wiki. I was going to add a list of all the CKs out of the box startup errors so people can compare their errors and see if their mod is causing any of them. Just load up your Skyrim.esm with no other mods active and let me know if your list is any different. You should only get 9 total. :psyduck:

That was actually from loading my wip.esp, with both skyrim & update esm's.They look pretty much the same to me at a glance... well there are 9, and 8 of them are doors. David Brasher
The people at Bethesda should be ashamed. I would be embarrassed to release a mod that generated 9 CK errors. And here we are with Skyrim.esm being so buggy that it generates 9 CK errors every time a user opens the CK to work on any mod. It makes it so real error messages concerning your mod get lost and ignored because you are so accustomed to ignoring error messages. And this issue is something we are not allowed to fix, because if you fixed Skyrim.esm and distributed it, that would be piracy. Maybe what we need is for someone to fix their copy of Skyrim.esm so that it does not generate any CK errors when they open it, and post a detailed tutorial on exactly what errors they fixed and how they fixed them so that other modders could edit their copies of Skyrim.esm in this fashion. scrivener07
Okay I got a page up on the wiki here. Let me know if I made myself look foolish with misinformation.
tunaisafish
Thanks scriver  David, yeah that's a good idea. I'm getting sick of having to press 'Yes To All' after returning with a fresh coffee.
