Erkronos
Currently there are tons of mods that changes the layout and content of Breezehome but most of them are exaggerated. I want to add the items myself like containers and mannequins. What tools do I need to make my own mod? Is it possible to do with Workshop app? jet4571
Just the Creation Kit would be required.
David Brasher
Steam Workshop is a system for uploading and distributing mods to gamers. (It is a buggy system and for many mods it will not work, so you would still have to upload to TES Nexus or Planet Elder Scrolls instead.) So what you would need is just the Creation Kit. You can worry about how to distribute your mod later. Here is a link to the instructions for using the Creation Kit: Creation Kit.
Erkronos
I have the creation it and I will use the tutorials. I wonder how did the people made mods before the release of creation kit?
David Brasher
Before the CK was released, here were many sorts of mods that could not be made or could not be made quickly and in a polished and nice manner. There were like only a dozen people in the whole world who could build a house mod before the CK became available. Now anyone can do it.

Yep, all you need is the CK. Just go to tools under steam and download the CK. After you have it loaded head over to www.creationkit.com to get you started with the basics. jet4571
click the yes to all on the errors. Yes Bethesda didn't think to fix those before releasing. you should have three windows open. one shows the cells, the other is the tree that has all the items in it and the other is the render window. right now you want to open up breezehome so you would scroll through the list of cells until you find WhiterunBreezehome. double click it and it will open the interior of breezehome in the render window and a list of items in box on the right of the cell window. Just follow the tutorials and you will get there

I think a lot of 'em are because this CK is just a re-hash of the CK used in Fallout/Oblivion with a few changes, so thats why those errors appear. -95% chance I'm wrong, but I'm still sure thats the reason why :
