arlowix
Hey Nexus, I'm here for your help! So, long story short, I installed the FXAA Post Injector mod and after a while I wanted to uninstall it. I did, but something went wrong: as soon as I would push Play in Skyrim's launcher, it just wouldn't open. Nothing would happen. But that is not the problem, it's just to make you understand what the hell is going on here. The problem is, I discovered it was fault of d3d9.dll or however its called and I deleted it. I eventually got the DLL back in place but now I wont get over 20 fps with my lowest settings on. It recognizes my nvidia GT 440 easily, and everything's set on Low.With FXAA Post Injector I had a huge fps boost, and I could play at an average 40-45 fps. Now it won't get over 22, which is pretty much unplayable for me (since it goes down to 12 or so in places like cities or with shadows generally).Anyone could shine some light if a fix is possible or not? I just need to uninstall or can you provide me a working .dll (if that is the problem)? Thanks everyone reading and for any future responses <

arlowix
No other way, no fixes? Downloading with Steam takes ages :(
Korodic
well it is faster than trying to figure out the exact issue causing your problem probably, or to get a response on here that *might* solve your problem.
Korodic
you should probably back up your skyrim once you download it fresh again just in case it ever happens again if you got the GB to spare.

Mayfly53
If you're sure it's the FXAA Post Process Injector that's causing the problem, try looking for the following in the Skyrim root folder and removing them: injFX_Settings.hinstallscript.vdfshader.fxFXAA_Tool.exe and the folder "injFX_Shaders". In the "Data" folder, there may also be a folder called "shadersfx", which may also be causing a problem, but I don't know if it's related to the PPI. Also, if you have to reinstall Skyrim, make sure to back up your saves, and uninstall all mods added by NMM.
