dukotoja
Hey guys and gals I'm new to the modding world and have started with fallout 4. its been a dream to have my game come back to life and great such replay value from mods found on the nexus. seriously thank you to all the modders out there, your work is amazing. I have no idea how to mod or even start thinking about it but I came up with an idea that may be interesting. Would it be possible to create a two way radio with say characters such as Preston so you wouldn't have to physically go to him each time you do something for a random settlement? The way I imagine this idea working is that you could just radio Preston from which ever settlement you've just finished helping and he could say 'great job, here's another settlement that's in trouble' it could work the same with other npcs like the brotherhood trader who wants you to intimidate settlements or the guy in nukaworld who asks you to take them over. sorry if this idea has been done already and I've missed it! back to the commonwealth! TheGadget1945
It's a nice idea but I think the consensus is that most people would rather avoid Preston telling them about settlements in trouble
MightyZ0G
It's a nice idea but I think the consensus is that most people would rather avoid Preston telling them about settlements in trouble  but it would be good if after sorting out a raider problem at Country Crossing or Finch Farm, you could send Preston a message rather than slog across the commonwealth. you could also use it to call a companion and get them to meet you at your current location rather than making a detour to pick them up (maybe only companions that you have a high enough relation ship with could be called).
