[LE] Travel package stopping

Recommended Posts

I've got a NPC using a travel package, and when he gets about near his destination, he just stops running and stands still. Resurecting him and moving him to other locations do nothing. This is a new thing, as he used to do this just fine... Something I'm having repeat problems with now... I have already tried deleting the package and making a new one, and... this is the new one. I really don't know what's going on here. The area he stops at is near the bridge by the Orc stronghold Dushnikh Yal.

Update: He's now getting stuck just outside Cidhna Mine. It's not exclusive to that other area anymore.

Sometimes ck doesn't recognize a new package after deleting the old one. I always close ck after deleting a package and before I make it new. Test the package without any conditions, just the GetIsID. Don't alter the package if it is attached to the actor. Always remove it from actor, alter it and attach it again.

Test with a clean safe always. And make a new seq file. Seq means start enabled quest - but I experienced that many changes that have nothing to do with seqs will only show up in game after creating a new file.

I'm always fighting with packages that stop working - for me this works this way. Good luck.

So we have to go deeper in it. Please explain how you have attached the package: directly under the actor or to an alias or in a scene? Try to give the package another destination in an exterior cell just to test if it works anyway. Try an xmarker and link it to your npc and set this as the destination.

I had the same problem with my shepherd. He refuses to go to a certain location and nothing had worked for me. I used an xmarker and changed the location near the old one and it worked. It's a really annoying thing.
