legius400
I'm completely green to the Creation Kit. I have a great idea for a mod, but don't know how to do it. What I want is to replace voices of bandits. I'm fairly knowledgeable about sound editing, but when it comes to modding - I'm a complete noob. The main questions I've got are:• How do I find audio files for bandits? (I mostly need the one's that are said during combat)• How can I replace subtitles for those lines? Thank you! TheWormpie
First and foremost, you should read this tutorial to understand how dialogue works in Skyrim. Then find the specific quest in the CK that covers bandit dialogue. My guess is that it's called something with "dialogue" so try that in the filter. I'd make a copy of that quest, then edit the priority so that it's higher than the original. From there you can edit all dialogue responses incl. combat lines. If you only want to replace parts of the bandits' dialogue (for example only the combat lines), then delete all other topics and responses in your new quest. To create an audio file for a response, open that response and look at the Voice Filename field. Convert your audio file to .WAV format if it isn't already, rename that audio file so that it resembles the text in the aforementioned field, then place it in the correct folder (Skyrim -> Data -> Sound -> Voice -> MyModName.esp -> SomeBanditVoiceTypeName). To create a lip file, open the response again afterwards and generate a lip file from WAV.
agerweb
Copying a quest in the CK does not copy any of the dialogue so you would have to recreate it all from scratch.

Haven't ever tried to copy a quest, so I just assumed it worked like everything else.
