LE Mod Idea: Family of Heroes

Hi everybody!

 

Since i am not a mod programmer and due to all other ongoing projects i just dont have the time to do it myself... so i thought, maybe someone can use this idea.

 

PLEASE! If you use my idea then let me know, i would very much like to be a part of creating this mod (creativity and testing part of it).

 

General Description

This mod brings several new elements into Skyrim that changes the heart and soul of the game. You no longer will be alone in fighting for whats right or fallowing the dark. This mod adds playable family into the game. You can marry someone, have a child and play as your family members as you play your main character.

 

Mod elements

• You are able to marry almost anyone in skyrim, if you can meet their requirements (higher and more important characters only marry if you have done something special, like copleting the main quest)
  
• You are able create the one you will marry (just like you create yourself in the beginning) and that character appears somewhere close, like in the same city. After creating, you still have to find and woo that person.
  
• You can have a child and upon birth, create that child the same way you create yourself in the beginning.
  
• You can shift into family member only at home.
  
• Quests completed by one family member are not available to others.
  
• You can invite character to join you with your adventures, like housecarls.
  
• Each family member will have its on stats, spells, skills. If you dont play as that character or dont let them come along, they will not level up and stay as they were, level 1.
  
• The one you marry can do the shopping. You place the items into selling box and they will sell them in time, while you are away
  
• Family members are immortal when they are not in your party or you dont play as them. Otherwise mortal.
  
• Wife cant go adventures while preagnant. This applies even if your first character was female and you married a male, you can only play as male at that time (or a child, if you had one already)
  
• Children will be significantly weaker
  

 

These are not all ideas, i have some more amazing features in mind, so... if you do create this mod, we can talk about the rest of them too :)

 

Also, it would be great if modders comment about creating this mod, is it even possible to make something like this and how hard would it be?

So, anyways i remember there was a mod for morrowind that did the same as this, it shouldn't be too hard for a modder to make something like that for skyrim. I'm no modder so i can't help you. sorry.
