awarburton
Hi there, I am very very new to this side of gaming and would love it if someone could help a NOOB out! I have been trying to create a custom enchantment on a sword that will have the following effects: Slow time: not just that target enemy but have the same effect as the slow time spell/shout.Bleeding: to make them well ... bleed....extra dragon damage: cus you know dragons...right.Extra damage against undead/vamps: you get the idea.and some kind of good but not too good push back effect: so that when the get pushed it all goes slow mo and i can f*** them up while they are flying through the air. Im fresh from watching the latest King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword, and basically im looking to make that sort of effect with a few extra bits of flair. The idea that it would make it very cinematic during gameplay when going up against larger armies/hordes so far i have tried adding a few various already existing enchants through the creation kit, but each time i test all NPCs including things like wolves and guards seem to be resistant to my enchants, i have double checked the magic effects and each are set to none resist (just to see if this would change anything.... it didnt) I am also trying to add these enchants to a weapon that i had found on the Skyrim nexus. i hope that this isnt the issue though, because its a nice looking piece of virtual metal. Id also want 2 versions of it, one that would work like any vanilla enchant that runs out with use, and another that is more god mode. My main struggle and my big aim at the moment is get the slow time thing to work, i want it to activate only when a successful hit has been made and it last for about 5/10 seconds, but each time a new hot occurs the timer restarts. and again the slow time is would effect everything around me not just the target that was hit. Any help please? as added incentive for the person that helps me resolve this i will personally send you a thank you card!!! Edited July 19, 2017 by awarburton
awarburton
Update: I have found the magic effect of supernatural reflexes which give the exact ability that i am looking for, although when testing this in coc qasmoke, it does not give off any effect at all, the sword recognises the enchantment and the game shows the enchantment on the item description. so far no luck on actually getting the ability to activate on contact... again there is a personal hand written thank you card up for grabs for that special someone!!!
