Simple Landscape Issue

What I'm trying to accomplish at the moment is pretty simple. I want to create a medium sized circle that will act as a floor in the tower. For the life of me I can't seem to get 3ds 2010 or blender to export .nif files. I've tried all the plug-ins I can, but I still don't see .nif as an export option. There are plenty of tutorials on how to create weapons, which normally requires copying an old weapon and editing it, but I'd like to build an object from scratch. Help please!

Make sure you have the correct version of NifTools plugin for 3DS Max. I don't remember which version it is and the NifTools site isn't very clear on that. I found the version I'm using buried in one of the threads on NifTools forum.

If you cannot find it after looking further, I will see if I can locate it for you (needle in a haystack).

Well it appears that there may NOT be one for 3ds 2010, that they only go as high for 2009. I'm trying to use Blender right now, but despite having installed python, and this PyFFI thing, when I try to install blender_nif_script is still says I need to instally the PyFFI. Probably because when I tried to install PyFFI, I couldn't check any of the Blender checks, or python checks. This is getting rather frustrating.

It appears I got it working for Blender. The nif_script installation file was forcing me to download newer but incorrect versions of the software I need. Now I can export .nif files in blender.
