Solitude Map Marker Glitch *Spoilers*

After I have completed the Battle for Solitude and completed the mission Liberation of Skyrim, the map marker for Solitude or the Blue Palace do not reappear. Also, combat music is playing and will not change. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
