Oblivion Mod Manager Error

Recommended Posts

Recently installed oblivion after finding one of my game discs that were long since lost. However I am experiencing an error. Whenever I launch obmm I get a fatal error that reads:

"An unhandled exception occurred.
Extra information should have been saved to 'obmm_crashdump.txt' in oblivion's base directory.

Error message: Could not find a part of the path 'shaderpackage001.sdp'.

Any help on trying to resolve this issue is most appreciated thank you.

Yes, strangely I'm having the exact same problem. The game is running fine, but I cannot close out of OBMM because of a similar message.

Mine is "access to the path ... is denied."

I've read of people running OBMM as an administrator, but since I cannot close out of OBMM, I cannot reopen the program with administrator privileges.

So when I open obmm_crashdump.txt this is what the text reads:

OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0

Ah! That fixed it, so I ran it as an admin and it told me that vista moved some of the files to the store? (So f***ing weird) But after clicking yes to moving the files back it seems to be functioning.

So did you run OBMM as an admin? I think my issue is a little different. For some reason Windows isn't giving me access to the ...data\meshes\clothes file.

I can't run OBMM as an admin because I can't close out of OBMM.
