JessPlaysGames
I just got a new desktop computer to play Skyrim and I am getting FPS in the 20s outside, sometimes dipping into the teens, and stuttering everytime I try to turn my character or while running. The stutter is so bad if I try to aim a bow as I'm turning it will freeze for a second and suddenly I will be facing the other direction. My computer has an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 1060 3GB graphics card and is running Windows 10. I was playing on a laptop with just GTX 960M with 4GB and getting mid 30s FPS and no stutter with the same modlist and same Vivid Weathers ENB. I was expecting to get better performance with a more powerful card but it is unplayable. I've googled the problem and tried the fixes suggested but not had any improvement. Has anyone else encountered similar problems and if so what did you do to fix it? My modlist and ini set up is below. forskyrimmods
It could be a VRAM issue maybe? Try disabling Verdant and see how your performance is.
