ck npc faces

Hi was trying to make a custom companion the only part i have been having trouble with is editing the face. when i try to make a face preview it just shows up with the eyes and a set of teeth in the render window with none of the surrounding head structure which makes it a bit hard to ediit.

everything else works ok and the character goes in game, i tried using the skyrim npc editor on it (foretrenty) but you can use it to edit a custom npc.

Does anyone have any ideas maybe a setting i have wrong or something ?

ta

got it working don't worry

na my problem was different it didn't show the whole head in ck just a disembodied set of eyes and a set of teeth which was impossible to edit but showed up (with default head) in game ok (with the ever present grey face of course) I figured there must have been a setting i accidentally changed or my install was dodgy so just deleted and reinstalled ck (would have thought of it earlier but my 5 week old son has left me seriously sleep deprived.

Sorry that it probably wasn't much help (just my brain finally kicking in off 5 weeks worth of sleep deprivation torture which would be a war crime in other circumstances).
