Adept1797
It's annoying that every bit of clothing that can have ballistic weave is prefixed with "Armored" when it isn't. It's bad enough when General Atomics interior won't render properly. But when an entire section of the workshop(and an important one at that) Spontaneously disappears It Becomes unbearable. I've not the faintest idea how to get it fixed and this is SERIOUSLY grinding my beans. My mod list(in the load order) is as follows. Please note: 'Sanctuary Rebuilt' is presently disabled.\ UpDate: The General Atomics problem has been fixed, But now Abernathy Farm is glitching out!Fallout4.esm=1DLCRobot.esm=1DLCworkshop01.esm=1DLCCoast.esm=1DLCworkshop02.esm=1DLCworkshop03.esm=1DLCNukaWorld.esm=1workingmilkmachine.esp=1exoticworkshopcreatures.esp=13dscopes-farharbor.esp=1proportionalroastingandwaterboiling.esp=1cheaters den.esp=1cheatterminal.esp=1realistichunting.esp=1project eba.esp=1livingdiamondcity.esp=1weightless junk.esp=1alienassaultrifle.esp=13dscopes.esp=1mso_sms.esp=1creativeclutter.esp=1fullflavored.esp=1fhleveledlistintegration.esp=1righthandedhuntingrifle.esp=1kor_highlight.esp=1raidersettlementitemunlock.esp=13dscopes-nukaworld.esp=1manufacturingextended.esp=1xox_workshopbuildercrafting.esp=1contraption - composter.esp=1legendary effects - vanilla.esp=1trainbar.esp=1crimetown.esp=1collector.esp=1scrap_dirt_sancturary.esp=1advancedworkshopfoodharvesting-alldlc.esp=1settler kit - farauto.esp=1sanctuary hills rebuild.esp=0unlimitedsettlementbudget.esp=1AkaMoveYourWorkbench.esp=1WeaponRackFixes.esp=1Ware's Brew Fix.esp=1Scouter_V1.1_by_Ruddy88.esp=1NEWSANCTUARY.esp=1NukaVimRack.esp=1Northland Diggers New.esp=1LeverActionReloadOverhaul.esp=1LaundryDay.esp=1GKX Weapon Miscellany.esp=1FogCondenserRespawnFix_Poh.esp=1EasyHacking.esp=1dinomore.esp=1bb_vendors.esp=1Better Cooking Stations.esp=0 <== EDIT 1NukaWorldBallisticWeaveSupport.esp=0AkaWaterWorld.esp=1dinoshelf.esp=1dinoshelf_extra_ammo.esp=1 Ideas as to organise it, or potential culprits. Arneercool
Try me!!! http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22205/? 1.Workshop items 2. Big texture re-placers(landscape overhauls) 3. Gameplay altering mods( and item sorters/ hud plugins) 4 radio 5. power armor/robot related 6. Npc/character textures (cbbe) 7. Armor/clothing 8. Weapons. 9. Must go here per authors instruction, same goes for top. You should use the time to study the beginners guide regarding loot, wrye, fo4edit's combined use. It is much easier than first impression will let on. And easily worth the 10-20 minutes it takes to setup an learn. skubblebubble
Well, it shouldn't be my mod. I just added a couple things to each of the stores. My mods generally don't care where they go in the load order. I *tried* to set them up that way so far. Other than that, I'd say yes, run LOOT and see what it does to the load order. It's generally pretty good.

Unfortunately, I've identified additional symptoms of mod conflict.I'm in no position to put stock in LOOT as what it did to my load order is the reason I'm posting at all. I got LOOT thinking it would solve a few annoyances. What I got was this mess. So I have my sincerest doubts that LOOT can help me. Its "Beginners Guide" doesn't tell me how to adjust where things are loaded/ordered. There's also no undo in LOOT so I Can't go back to my old load order. On that note, would someone, kindly help me arrange everything? Since I can't trust LOOT to do it. Edited July 29, 2017 by Adept1797
skubblebubble
Loot is fairly good, but not perfect by any means. NMM can export your load order, as well as make profiles. You can just make a say, test1 profile that is a duplicate of the main one. (or more than 1 copy) Fiddle with load orders there. Now after running LOOT there are a few things: Check the info from the mod pages about specific load orders, I know of a couple where you do have to load abc etc in a certain sequence, but only those 3 or 4 mods. Abernathy may have had something from the disabled mod. (what kind of "glitching"?) BTW, I've totally trashed my FO4 install more than once and had to start all over again.Good news is, as long as I get the same mods back in, savegames are fine. Of course after a while, it gets tough to remember what order to actually install things. (was brutal in Skryim)Hmm, now there's a suggestion for the new mod manager. Remember what order/dates mods were originally installed. Once I fire up the other machine, I'll check and see if anything keeps backups of the load order. Something makes me think there is, but I may be mistaken.
Arneercool
The thing about loot is that it only works as intended if you use it in combination with Wrye and Foedit. And even when all that is done, you should let common sense and experience do the final sorting in Nmm. KNOW your mods. Read the descriptions twice and trice. Check back on the mod page often for updates, turials, new info, bug reports, read the comments and so on. ( don't be fooled by bug reports though, they tell you nothing of the products usability and most reported bugs are not bugs) KNOW your load order to a point of being able to recite it 3 in the morning. And even as equally important, KNOW your game. This last one is a potential goldmine for conflict avoiding. You should at least have concluded the game a few times before modding. Do this, and after a while you will know by instinct exactly where new mods go, where the potential conflict are, and what are the most likely reason something is not working, you will know what are safe to delete midway, and what should be avoided at all costs. Loot is not perfect, nor is it meant to be standalone at this point, i think.
Adept1797
(what kind of "glitching"?) Glitching as in as I walk through things disappear and reappear at random. It's given me headaches. make matters worse after rearranging my mod order General atomics has started acting up again and the bar tab is once again missing in action. The thing about loot is that it only works as intended if you use it in combination with Wrye and Foedit. And even when all that is done, you should let common sense and experience do the final sorting in Nmm. Loot is not perfect, nor is it meant to be standalone at this point, i think. It never implied that was meant to be used in conjunction with other programs. Plus as I've said the guide doesn't explain how to do anything(at least not the ones I've found) nor does LOOT itself have anything straightforward enough to make the guides make sense. It makes it look like there are two different LOOT programs. From Here on I'm not using that self contradicting piece of software.
skubblebubble
Ok, being able to walk through stuff... ayup, I'd call that a glitch. Haven't seen that before.Sounds like something is removing collision from things. Which mod, I have no idea. At this point, personally, I'd be disabling all the mods (all of them), and testing a new game/char.(actually I keep a save of one char right after finishing with codsworth, no mods enabled. I hate redoing the opening bit) Get sanctuary as a settlement, check things, if all good, start re-enabling mods, and see when/where it breaks. The part above about categories is a good one too. The difference this time: Mods were acquired EXCLUSIVELY through Nexus. My setup is almost finished, and none of the bugs previously encountered have occurred. In fact, New mods have been added without side effects. Which raises the question: Is there some form of 'disagreement' between the Nexus Mod Manager and the Bethesda modding interface? MightyZ0G
in NMM in the plugins tab, on the left are some icons.the bottom 2 are export and import load order.once you have sorted your load order, export it to a text file.this is very useful if you update a mod and can't remember where exactly to put the esp as you can just import the load order and it resorts the mods to how you had them. this guide is a good starting point for sorting your load order this guide is pretty good for using wrye and fo4edit to solve mod compatibility errors as well as sorting masters. use NMM to move the esp files in the load orderuse wrye to identify problemsuse fo4edit to fix problems
