RagnarokEOTW
One of the Skyrim race menu mods (I can't immediately remember the name) had an option to export a character's face as a .nif mesh, which could then be loaded into a modelling program such as Blender, allowing me to take my characters and use them in animations outside of Skyrim. However, things like the Face Ripper for Fallout 4 seem to only transfer facegen values, a format which doesn't seem to be usable outside Fallout 4.Is there a mod that does allow me to directly export my characters' faces as a mesh, or at least some other workaround by which I can do so (even if it involves time consumingly manually copying Facegen values into Blender)? Rephrased, I want to be able to load my Fallout 4 character's face in Blender. What's the best way of doing that?
RagnarokEOTW
Well, I can see no-one is particularly interested, but in the event anyone else should have the same issue in future, I eventually resolved the problem by resorting to Ninja Ripper. (I wouldn't normally advocate that, but I don't see any guilt in ripping my own character's face).Probably should have tried that earlier, to be honest; I made the (apparently false) assumption it would just export a base mesh without the facegen applied, but evidently facegen isn't done in the way I thought.
