aksuman
A alchemist's bow. Basically a bow that does 0 damage, no matter when. It can just use any texture of a bow, and any animation. I'd really prefer the Longbow texture & animation. I would use it to grind my alchemy skill, in a legit-ish way. I get kind of pissed sometimes when I poison my daedric bow to shoot someone, and i notice its a complete overkill. Best regards, aksuman
fraquar
Grinding, the very nature of that word doesn't scream legit to begin with. It's just another abused mechanic in a different form........ Alchemy should be a natural part of your play though. From eating ingredients to find their properties (crude), to making healing potions instead of buying them, from making potions that protect your from elemental attacks, to making potions that enhance your crafting skills, to crafting potions that mean you don't need to pursue other avenues of magic (i.e. Invisibility, Waterbreathing), to yes, making poisons that add damage+. You might want to revisit how you play the game if you are just looking for another mod to abuse a mechanic.
TheSpaceShuttleChallenger
> Complains that daedric bow does too much damage, doesn't consider using LITERALLY ANY OTHER BOW BECAUSE THEY ALL DO LESS DAMAGE THAN THE DAEDRIC BOW And I fail to see how a zero damage bow is a 'legit' way to grind. In fact i you ask me it seems really contrived and cheat-ey, seeing as grinding is basically the only reason you'd go out of your way to download such a bow to begin with. I mean, even if you wanted to reduce your damage so that you needed more shots to secure a kill, wouldn't a plain 1st tier bow (longbow or hunting bow) let you take more shots without being ridiculously ineffective? If you want to grind without cheats, then just pick a lot of Blue Mountain Flowers and Blue Butterfly wings. Both ingredients are extremely common and they combine to make an extremely valuable potion.

You could always just use a lower tier bow. Might I suggest you use the longbow you mentioned, or perhaps a Hunting bow? They do considerably less damage than the Daedric bow. The problem with Alchemy being a "natural part" of your play-through is that the experience you get from crafting potions is not determined by how many you craft, but rather how much they're worth. What I mean is if you craft a potion that is worth maybe 31 septims, ie. a minor healing potion, you will get considerably less experience to the next level than say a potion worth 1200 septims. Eating an ingredient to discover it's properties also does next to nothing to make you progress to the next level. In order for you to have a high level of Alchemy, you need to either be crafting potions constantly or only craft the ones with the most value. fraquar
My point is if the whole point is to get from 0 to 100 as fast as possible (0 point damage bow repetition), just use the console and be done with it. Save a whole lot of headache and it doesn't need a mod cluttering up the list either. IMO, Alchemy is the one and really only skill that makes Training relevant. That would be my "legit grind" of choice, and I could use the byproducts of Alchemy, and/or other revenue streams to fund it easily. Arcadia is an Expert level trainer (Level 75) and in the default game you are almost forced to trip over her in the early minutes of gameplay. Personally though, I never felt the need to get Alchemy up to 100, I always use it merely as a support element to normal gameplay.
