Shootist82
I am learning to mod and am trying to add a new .44 revolver chambered in 45 to my game. I followed the instructions on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f_suBDqYLg but the weapon won’t show up in game. Is there any suggestions as to what I might do to fix this problem? stonefisher
After watching the vid, seems to cover everything. If you are only using it as a guide and changed other settings what did you do differently?
Shootist82
I carefully followed each direction just as the video said. The only difference I changed was ammo type to 45, ammo capacity to 7, made the weapon not boltaction and added the enchantment ench_mod_LegendaryWeapon_Cryo. When I get into game and open the console, and type the command: Help (45TrailGun) 4. The console does not populate the weapon. If I uninstall the mod esp I get a notification when starting the game that I am missing the esp.
Shootist82
I finally got my mod working. Good Luck to all you new mod creators out there.
stonefisher
Ah good, what was it? Wrong name in console search?
Shootist82
That was part of the problem, but the other part was the * at the beggining of the mod name was disapearing after I saved and closed the plugins.txt. I'm not sure why, but it finally got it working. It's working great for me now, so I uploaded the mod here on the nexus and named it Old Trail Gun. stonefisher
I had a look at your mod, it was baffling. If set up correctly you should just have to download with your mod manager of choice or just drop an esp file in the data folder and go into the ingame modmanager to add the mod. P.S. The gun is labled "Tail" instead of "Trail" in the game when searching for the gun.
