madblinderic Posted February 27, 2012 Share Posted February 27, 2012 Hi I started playing Skyrim again this weekend. The last time i played was when the resistances bug was active. I had a level 50 destruction mage type character at that point with a smattering of Perks in other places - including topping out blacksmithing and enchanting. It didnt seem an unbalanced build to me though as i was playing. So i started again this time i wanted to play melee / stealth. The Perks are proportionatly not too differently spread as they were before, so i dont think im levelling too high for my combat skills by crafting ( ie mostly they are combat Perks ). My problem is poison. I was fighting a giant spider yesterday ( well dying really ) and was recieving 45 Dot damage per second. I think i had give or take 200 health at the time, I had no resistance gear on. Im in a dungeon at the moment and there is a chaurus i need to get past and pretty much the same thing is happening ( i dont know the exact number of damage the dot is doing in this instance though ( its not that different though, im dropping pretty quickly ). However i never ever ever had this problem the last time i played. So im wondering if something has changed re poison since the last time i played? or Is it one of the mods i ve got installed this time making this happen.. i dont think thats the case though as reading through the description of the ones im using ( that may have a bearing on this ) nothing about poison is popping up. Would anyone know if poison damage recieved has been changed in patches recently? or do i need to start switching mods off and testing.
