SleepyDoll1
I have alot of characters, so I keep some mods disabled depending which ones I play as. I loaded up my female vampire and accidentally forgot to enable Loks Eyes for her. I realized that later after making a few saves. Then I exited the game, enabled the mod and went back to the newest save. I open up racemenu to change back her eyes and the game crashes when I attempt to move the eye color slider. I reloaded LOOT, reinstalled the mod, loaded up the older save when the mod was active, but nothing, still crashing. What confuses me is that I have another character with whom I use this mod and the same thing happened, but he was back to normal when I loaded up the save with the mod enabled without crashing. Can anyone help?
metaforce
I got 2 questions: Do you use any mods that change the appearance of vampires? Was Loks eyes already activated BEFORE or AFTER your vampire became a vamp? What puzzles me here is that by default Loks eyes does not contain any eyes for vampire characters. In other words Loks eyes will only show eyes for human characters. As soon as a character changes into a vampire the eye textures get changed with the vampire textures. There is only one option for that per race by default. Apparently Loks eyes however incorrectly shows up as slider options when you are a vampire. That little incorrect option on the mod authors part is what makes your game crash. Here is what you can do: You have to get a mod which actually adds VAMPIRE EYE OPTIONS. Here are 4 of them: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41634/?http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38829/?http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22619/?http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1909/? (...search for them there is more on the Nexus) Once you installed the one you like you can also go ahead and exchange the texture files of the mod you downloaded with the ones from Loks eyes that you want to see on your character. If you choose to do that it might be possible that you have to manually add a glow map to the eyes. If you exchange the textures as I wrote above and your eyes are not glowing, come back here and tell me. Edited July 28, 2017 by metaforce
SleepyDoll1
It was activated before and yeah I realized that later when I made a new character as a vampire just to test it out. I only have better fangs as an appearance alteration, but no eyes or anything else. The thing is, I could change the loks eyes back once the character became a vampire in racemenu, although only the human ones, the elf ones were off limits and I was a high elf. I was looking specifically for green eyes with a black sclera and no other mod had that in general. And I don't really care for glowing, I think it's a nice touch, but not keen on having it all the time.thank you for your reply, I might try and exchange the textures if I can, never done that before
SleepyDoll1
I downloaded better vampire fangs and eyes, but how do I add the textures from Loks eyes to be for vampires if the other mod only offers .dds and .nif files?
