I've been collecting permissions from other modders to acquire some assets and make my mod a little less overwhelming. I am not an artist, quite terrible honestly. What i'm looking for or hoping for some people willing to ease a smallish burden that I feel is quite important for the mod. Essentially in my mod the player is going to create his own army. What I really need is a Banner design and a kick ass shield w/ that design on it. I was thinking like a dwemer gold and ebony black design w/ your idea of a new dragon symbol. I guess best one wins, or perhaps multiple winners for i'd like the troops to have perhaps one style shield for heavy and one for light armor, maybe a buckler for mages. Would like the shield to be semi unique if possible but not married to it. I don't want the shield to be massive for all that does generally is clipping into npc when at rest. I like the orc style shield/ebony somewhat/ Auriels shield is pretty cool design and not really utilized a lot in mods, well in mods that i'm aware of. Anyway ideas? Thoughts? I have an armor in mind already and waiting to hear back for permission, but if this is like a challenge you've been looking for to do something creative, even better. So Dragonborn logo the death out of me lol. Plus open to what to call this new army? Small mod hint, the seat of the empire is open so lets take it. Imperials shall be the enemy somewhat, so shying away from Empire/imperial anything. Appreciate all comments, thoughts and ideas. FEEL FREE TO PM ME IF MORE COMFORTABLE Phil small edit: trying to stay away from blues and reds, new faction/army needs to be recognizable in the carnage of battle. Trying to get a clean version from original author so i can attach it to a banner. Fun facts for those that read this........Why isn't there a Blades' Bow? Why doesn't Skyrim have their own unique flag/banner? Maybe thats what i'm truly looking for to put into my mod, a skyrim province Flag/banner to represent all nords. assume its cuz they are imperial's colony.
