Akaviri and Furnishings

Assuming (chuckle) that the Akaviri race and culture is somewhat, if not absolutely, a clone of Japanese/Chinese/Korean physiology and culture(s) someone ought to develop a mod for Japanese sleeping arrangements. Specifically I'm referring to the sleeping mat...a "Tatami". This is a thick mat of woven rice straw(iIrc) which is then overlaid with covers of various types, including sheets, quilts, blankets, etc.

Additionally, Japanese head rests for sleeping weren't western style pillows but, rather, were wooden blocks (again iIrc). My memories on this are at least forty years old so I may be off base. Oh, one other note on tatamis. When not in use they're rolled up and stacked to one side...bedding, mats and all. I don't have a clue as to how this would work. When I'm running a Japanese style player home, I drop portable bedrolls on the floor as a substitute for tatamis. Works pretty well, except for mods that aren't entirely adapted to that sort of thing, in which case the bedrolls are sometimes subsumed by the bitmap which makes up the floor. Back before Lakeview was modded to include a large basement bedroom, I left the back storage room unfurnished and dropped several bedrolls on the floor. Worked very well as a follower dormitory. In fact, now that I think of it, before handy tent summoning mods became available, the portable bedroll mod was one of the most useful ever. Shucks, I could even drop one near the fire in an inn and save on room rent as well as staying warm. Very handy when running immersive mods like "Wet and Cold" and "Frostfall".
