gaultjohn
I am using Noble Skyrim. It includes some re textures for the dragon born and dawn guard dlc. Can someone recommend any mods that add to the re-textures for the dlc? I only ask that the mod has been updated within the last year or so. Thank you very much! Is there some reason you think those Noble Skyrim DLC assets aren't complete or mostly complete? Don't forget that those new areas, while having some new assets, will still use a good percentage of the original game assets as well. [edit] I do know that Noble Skyrim doesn't do the snow elf ruins, so here you go. Edited July 31, 2017 by nightscrawl
Skagens
As far as I know, all of aMidianBorn's textures should work fine in SE so I definitely recommend his textures. He made a pack for Solstheim but I recommend all his textures.
Novem99
No, I really wouldn't recommend aMidianBorn's textures for anything else than weapons and armors. I'm really greatful for his work but when it comes to architecture/landscape textures almost all of his textures are pretty blurry. Cabal himself once said that these kind of textures aren't his "department". In any case he cannot keep up with Noble Skyrim/Langley/Vivid Landscapes e.g. concerning architecture and landscape. This also has nothing to do with personal taste. Just take a look at the textures with a software like Paint.NET and you know what I mean.
Skagens
I don't know, I like his textures. I'm not denying there are better textures than his out there because there probably is, but his textures are not bad. His cave textures in particular is not something I can play without. Matter of opinion I guess, because personal taste always plays a role. For instance, there are several textures in Noble Skyrim that I dislike. Some look a bit too detailed so that it's out of place. Also, correct be if I'm wrong but I couldn't find a texture pack for Solstheim other than his, so I think it's the best you got. That is if you don't want to go through the hassle of installing several individual texture mods.
Novem99
Like I said Langley covers a lot of Dragonborn's textures or at least it used to cover it. I don't know if the latest update still contains these textures. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26269/? And I understand when you say some textures are too detailed so they don't fit to the rest of the environment.
