Looknot
Ok here gose. I need to learn how to export nifs to a folder on my desktop. Here is what I'm trying to do. I want to turn a loadstone nif to a key nif. In other words I want to turn a key into a activator But I have no nifs to go by except those from other mods. I have checked this with a sword that I had a nif for. It works so instead of picking the sword up it teleports you to a Xheading marker. heheh raid my crpyt will you, don't think so opps ohh crap I'm at the start of the instance again. Ok any help would be helpfull. Probably a tool out there somewhere. Just need a reference on the tool. Thank you for any help at all.
NoAardvarksAllowed
The BSA Browser will let you export the mesh you want from the game archive. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1395
SkjoldBjorn
If i understand this correctly you have duplicated an object and want alternative apparance that already excists in the vanilla meshes.bsa?the only thing you need to do here is to copy the .nif path given on the object you want to take the apparance from and paste it into the "model" path in the object window of the object you want changed.I did this to a talking activator i wanted to have another apparance. So just copy the .nif path and the creation kit will undetrstand what you are trying to do. Also saves you the trouble of having a lot of mesh files in your datafolder. SkjoldBjorn
No you wont have any nifs to choose from, you just copy/paste the path, not open the folders to check for nifs.
